In today’s absolutely insane housing market, where homes are going up for sale in the morning and are sold later that afternoon, combined with my natural tendency to panic easily, it was incredibly reassuring to have Daniel in my corner to keep me calm while providing invaluable advice regarding how to approach this never-before-seen market. This was even more important for me since I am a first-time homeowner and was worried about finding someone trustworthy. Daniel always gave me the impression that he truly was doing good for my husband and I and always thinking in our best interest. Furthermore, being an emergency veterinarian, my odd working hours supplied additional stress and aggravation, which Daniel and his associate, Amber, expertly managed by all means possible so that we could get in for house showings at last-minute times and other negotiations. Sometimes being done at what I’m sure was a great inconvenience for them (even though they did not make that known). Daniel was attentive, patient, and skillful during my entire home-search process; preventing me from making impulse buys that may not have been the best fit, up until the very day when we found the right home. Daniel came with us to our first meeting with our builder to make sure everything they proposed was in line and to get an idea of the requirements of the lot we’d need to purchase in order to build our home. Because we weren’t super settled on where to live, we sent him around 30 possible lots we liked and he did a lot of research to help us narrow down the list to 8. And when we looked at those 8 lots with him, Daniel had called each owner or agent ahead of time to get additional information for us. Even after we purchased our lot, Daniel called us frequently to check in during the building process and would even stop by to see the construction since we were still living in DC.
